Ideas

All ideas are not suitable for everyone. Some people occasionally feel offended by ideas they believe are not suitable to them. We encourage people who feel offended by anything on our site, to find another site that does not offend them.

No Guarantee of Accuracy

Non-Trivial.com is not a newspaper, nor a scientific publication. We believe our information is reliable, but no responsibility is assumed or implied concerning its accuracy or suitability.

Lawful Conduct

The United States of America are a land of laws. Non-Trivial.com does not break the law, and does not advocate or condone breaking the law.

We may discuss actions that may be illegal under certain jurisdictions. We may even argue that some laws do not make sense. But we do not encourage anyone to break even the laws that we believe do not make sense.

We do challenge people to think about laws. This is legal in all countries and jurisdictions that believe in democratic principles.

Our old friend Ken Starr (from the Lewinsky Fiasco) put it roughly this way in his famous interview with Diane Sawyer: "The law is the law. But if you don't like the law, you can change the law." (Implied: through your democratic right to express yourself and/or vote.)

Libelous or Offensive Materials

Non-Trivial.com respects everybody's opinion and avoids publishing libelous or offensive materials. If a specific person objects to anything said about him or her, we will where necessary clarify, modify or remove.

Intellectual Property

Non-Trivial.com reserves all rights to the contents, concept and format of this publication. Limited excerpts of this material (up to 100 words) may be quoted without permission, provided the source "Non-Trivial.com") is mentioned. More elaborate quotes require prior written permission, which may be obtained through E-mail.

Copyright

We have a strict policy of not using any copyrighted materials without permission, and to include the sources of our information as much as possible.

Although opinions are not generally copyrightable, we do acknowledge that some of our opinions may be the result of our reading or consulting of copyrighted materials.

Whenever possible, credit is given. But if and where this was (unintentionally) neglected, we are willing to rectify the situation. If you feel you may have been plagiarized, please E-mail us so we can investigate.

E-mail Policy

Readers who E-mail us with comments or ideas agree to grant Non-Trivial.com full rights on the material they send in. This includes the right to use those E-mails in any way we see fit. Non-Trivial.com reserves the right to edit, publish, bundle, transfer or sell those contributions, unless their authors expressly request otherwise.

Readers agree that their E-mail contributions must be original. If they are not, they must be labeled accordingly. We cannot accept responsibility for being misinformed about the copyright status of materials that are mailed in.

We make no guarantee that any E-mails will be answered or posted on our web site.

Non-Trivial.com does have a policy of not publishing the identity of E-mail contributors on its site.

Jurisdiction

Non-Trivial.com is an electronic publication of Non-Trivial Creations, Inc., a Texas corporation. Readers agree that any dispute resulting from the use of our Web site will be resolved according to the laws of the state of Texas.

Trademarks

All trademarks are the property of their respective legal owners.

Sex and Nudity

We do believe that sex is fundamentally healthy and see no rational reason not to discuss sex. Similarly, we have nothing against nudity. Actually, we are convinced that most human beings are born nude.

However, we do operate from the United States of America, and we do recognize that for otherwise being a great nation, the United States are unusually prude.

In order to comply with a plethora of laws regulating sex, we do not describe sexual acts. We do not show any nudity. For the record, we do not condone sex with minors either (a topic that is of no interest whatsoever to us anyway).

When we do refer to other web sites, which may or may not have sexual content, we make no judgment and do not assume any responsibility as to the content of those other sites.

Coincidentally, this also helps keep our site in good taste.
