Experts may say what they want, I believe addiction is all in the mind. Addiction is simply the inability to do things in moderation, the inability to say no to something enjoyable.

They say it is a chemical thing. Maybe they are right. After all, most feelings are caused by certain chemicals in the brain. The brain is just a chemical computer.

People get addicted to:

alcohol
drugs
cigarettes
coffee
food
work
sex
power
religion

An addiction is only truly an addiction when the indulgeance in it cause a person not to function normally in society.
